Richard Landers found safe
I have seen numerous articles that say Richard Landers has been found safe in Minnesota. His grandparents have not been charged since the charges were apparently dropped in 2008. A significant amount of people appear to be defending the grandparents, despite the fact his mother was the one who requested custody. I defend the grandparents as much as I do anyone who abducts a child, ie. not at all. I have resolved his case and modified the anniversary post so there are no dead links. Mateo Hellinger Suro and Edwin Sanches Gonzalez found safe
I have just received word from his father that Mateo Hellinger Suro has been found safe and is back at home and from an article that Edwin Sanches Gonzalez has been found in Texas and returned to his mother. I wish them the best in reuniting, and am thankful that despite the fact his father was located without him, Edwin was indeed living with other relatives and not deceased. I have just received word from NCMEC that Sabrena Beck has been found safe and seen a news article that says Alicia and Mitchell Ebertz have been found safe in Missouri. I have just been sent an article that states Katiana Resovich has been found safe and her mother taken into custody on kidnapping charges. Since Katiana is now eighteen she cannot be made to meet with her father, but I hope she is willing to and they have a chance to reconnect. I have just received word that Sylvester Lopez was found deceased in 1989 and identified in April. While this is not the ending anyone hoped for, at least his family has closure. I have just been sent several articles that state Abby and Dominic Maryk have been found in Mexico and returned home to their mother. Their living conditions were typically horrible – not allowed to go outside or to go to school, watched by cameras, guard dogs, and barbed wire. I have just been sent an article that states Damaris Herrera-Lopez has been found safe and her mother has turned herself into authorities. (If her mother is going to use the typical “he was abusive” defense, it’ll be that much harder to defend with this. Mexico would have never extradited her; she could have remained there indefinitely.) I wish her and her father the best in reuniting. I have resolved her case.
